Striving to take the problems out of pet ownership.
While some use us for occasional services such as a dog walk or cat feeding when their schedules require outside help, many of our clients use our services much more intensively. Others use our services as an alternative to boarding their pets while they are away, meaning much less trauma to the pet and enhanced security for their home. Your relationship with Palouse Pets begins with the registration interview. The interview gives us the opportunity to get to know you, your pets, and their routine, and gives you a chance to get to know us.
Dog Walking
We can walk your dog once or several times a day.
During the week our rates are $13 per dog for a 20 minute walk, and $16 on the weekend or holiday. We’ll always make sure that your pet receives exercise it needs as well as an opportunity to do their business. We always comply with local regulations regarding leashes and picking up after ourselves!
Doggie Play Group
For Dogs that have good social skills
We offer playgroups consisting of 3 to 5 dogs throughout the day. We pick up all of the dogs in a given playgroup in our Palouse Pet vehicle, and bring them to an enclosed play park where the dogs are allowed to play off-leash for between 1 and 1 1/2 hours. We will then bring your dog home, well exercised and ready to let you know how happy he was to have spent time with his friends. The cost of a playgroup experience is $20 during the week and $24 on the weekends. The groups are schedule for the morning, mid-day, and late afternoon.(This service is scheduled to begin in June – sign up now!)
Doggie Vet Visits
Can’t take your dog to the vet? WE CAN!
The rate for Vet visits is $27 per hour and begins when we pick up your pet and ends when we bring your pet home.
While you're Away
For those times when you are away
Want your pet to stay in his own environment? We offer our “While you’re away” package. We come to your house for a morning walk and to feed your pet. Then we’ll return mid-day to take your pet for another walk. We’ll take them out once more later in the day and feed again if necessary. If brushing is required, we’ll do that too, as well as administer any meds your pet may need. The fee for this service is $36 per day for a 3 visit package, or $46 per day for a four visit package and on weekends and holidays the prices are $43 and $56 respectively.
Cat Services
We visit your cat twice a day
For $25 per day during the week, $30 on the weekends. We feed your cat using your provided food, and spend approximately 20 minutes petting and playing with your cat. Our pet service providers are trained in administering medications if needed. A single visit a day is $13 during the week and $16 on the weekend.Every time we visit your cat, we will check the litter box and remove the large debris. If you would like the litter changed, we will supply the litter and clean the box for a fee of $11.
Fish Services
A complete range of services
We are able to offer vacation coverage care or a maintenance program for all of your aquatic needs. We can identify problems with your fish and the environment, as well as recommend solutions.
Bird Services
Care for your feathered friend.
Palouse Pets staff has experience with both small and large birds. A bird visit is $13 during the week and $16 on the weekend. Please contact us with your bird’s needs and we’ll be happy to set up a schedule.
Small Animal Services
Care for your small ones
At Palouse Pets, we have cared for every type of small animal imaginable, including mice, rats, bunnies, chameleons, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, chinchillas, even pet prairie dogs! So regardless of your pet’s needs, we can help. A typical home visit is $13 during the week and $16 on the weekend or holiday.
